The craving to be loved, cared for and accepted is but the norm for everybody and it reaches a feverish high with the onset of old age when the person has relinquished his body and mental strength battling the vagaries of life.

We all dream to live and die with dignity. There is an innate longing in every heart to be cared for - a longing that begins with our existence, continues to nurture with our growth and leads into fruition in our old age and ends when we breathe our last.

Snehatheeram, as the word means, is a shore of love where home care is provided for the aged especially the destitute who are physically and mentally disoriented by various reasons, irrespective of caste, creed, language, religion, etc.
